Description

In her story Zehra reflects on what it means to be both strongly against the continuation of khatna (female genital cutting) and a loyal supporter of her beloved Bohra Muslim community. She points out the hypocrisy of those who claim that Bohras are progressive and supportive of women, and demands that she be allowed to love the community and challenge it to grow.
