In a world where the fight for gender equality is ongoing, it is important to remember that over 513,000 women and girls in the United States are at risk of or have undergone female genital mutilation/ cutting (FGM/C) – a practice that has devastating longterm physical and emotional ramifications for survivors. Fortunately, The U.S. End FGM/C Network, a collaborative group of over 200 dedicated individuals and organizations, is working relentlessly to promote the abandonment of FGM/C not only in the United States but also internationally.

As we celebrate our fifth anniversary as a formal organization this year, we are gearing up for an exciting event that aims to make a lasting impact – a virtual silent auction.

On October 11th, 2023, as the world commemorates International Day of the Girl Child, we invite you to be a part of our fundraising event that has an ambitious goal of raising $10,000 in support of The U.S. End FGM/C Network and our mission to end FGM/C in the U.S.
