Looking back on 2023, it is clear that it was a crucial year for The U.S. End FGM/C Network in our ongoing mission to end female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C). Together, we achieved significant progress, particularly in raising awareness and trainings. Throughout the year, our collaborations and partnerships grew stronger, amplifying our impact across the nation. Education and outreach played a vital role in dispelling misconceptions and challenging cultural taboos surrounding FGM/C. As we reflect on the strides we have made, we are more united than ever in our determination to eradicate this harmful practice. Our collective efforts in 2023 have brought us closer to realizing a future free from FGM/C in the United States.
