Schools play an important role in ensuring implementation of targeted educational programs, including teacher-training and curriculum development which address FGM/C and related issues. To further explore strategies and best practices, we are hosting a training on FGM/C Education in Schools to increase understanding on how educational institutions can implement policies and structures to address FGM/C.

The training will address best practices from schools that have implemented FGM/C policies, strategies for engaging with educators and administrators, and examples of culturally relevant educational materials and resources on FGM/C.
