Harnessing the Power of Art to End FGM/C
Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) remains a critical global issue affecting the health, rights, and well-being of millions of women and girls worldwide. The U.S. End FGM/C Network is dedicated to eradicating this harmful practice through advocacy, education, and community engagement. In our ongoing efforts to raise awareness and foster dialogue, we are organizing a virtual event focused on the transformative role of art in ending FGM/C. The primary objective of this virtual event is to explore and highlight the power of art as a tool for advocacy, education, and social change in the movement to end this practice. Through engaging discussions, presentations, and artistic showcases, we aim to inspire action and foster empathy.
