Building Knowledge, Skills, and Capacity

Our training programs are designed to be engaging and interactive, featuring hands-on exercises and real-world scenarios that center on the voices and experiences of those most affected by FGM/C. We also provide various delivery options, including online courses, in-person workshops, and on-site training sessions, allowing you to select the format that best suits you and your team.

We are committed to providing training and technical assistance to organizations and institutions that seek to expand their knowledge and understanding of FGM/C, enhance or improve their FGM/C prevention programming, or better support FGM/C survivors.

Federal Technical Assistance Partnerships

The Network has served as a national technical assistance (TA) provider to the Office on Violence Against Women and Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), offering expertise, training, and resources to support efforts in addressing female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C) nationally. Through these partnerships, the Network has played a crucial role in strengthening the national response to FGM/C by enhancing the capacity of service providers, advocates, and system stakeholders.

The U.S. End FGM/C Network is also a member of a collaborative FGM/C TTA team in partnership with George Washington University, Sahiyo U.S., and Global Woman P.E.A.C.E. Foundation. You can learn more about that team below.
